IN THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE YOU MAY:
- Request appointment to view or obtain copies of public records such as Council Minutes, Ordinances, Resolutions, Budgets, Audits, Municipal Code, etc. In most cases, the appointment would be set on the same day. However, if numerous records or a large volume of copies were needed, the appointment would be set for another date. Copy cost is set at $.25 per page.
- Apply for a garbage exemption - for households whose sole income is from Social Security or VA benefits that directly reduce Social Security benefits.
- Apply for a back-door garbage pickup - for residents, living alone, that are physically unable to place cart at curb.
- File an insurance claim from accidents involving Municipal equipment and/or employees.
- Verify voter registration or obtain voter registration card that must be returned to the Calhoun County Voter Registration Office in Anniston, Alabama.
- Qualify to become a candidate during a Municipal Election.
- Request to be placed on Municipal Bid List to receive notification of upcoming bids for the type product or service offered.
- Request information on current or past City bids and review bid reports.
