A separate Finance Department was established in the City of Jacksonville in March of 2004.  The Finance Department is responsible for not only preparing the annual City budget and financial statements but also assisting the Mayor and Council in the development of fiscal policy.

OFFICE HOURS

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m., telephone calls accepted until 5:00 p.m.

VISIT THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO:
  • Apply for a business license
  • Pay ambulance or landfill bills
  • Purchase a yard sale permit
  • License your dog or cat (rabies certificate required)
  • Obtain maps, general information, and/or brochures about the City
  • View public financial records
  • Submit a bid and/or attend a Bid Opening
  • Purchase City Cemetery lots
