FORWARD
The Jacksonville Fire Department is a combination
career/volunteer organization working to provide emergency medical
services, fire protection and light rescue for the greater Jacksonville
community. Operations are coordinated from a single centrally located
station provided with six drive-thru bays.
We are looking for able volunteers willing to work as a part of the
team providing fire protection, EMS and disaster response across our
community. If you are between 21 and 101 years old and want to serve
your community through this organization, contact Chief Buckner at 435-2310 or stop by the Fire Station anytime.
Volunteer Fire Drill is held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday nights of
each month. New recruits are welcome to attend. Meeting begins at 6:30
p.m.
