Free First Aid Classes from JFD

FREE FIRST AID CLASSES THIS FALL

The Jacksonville Fire Department is offering free, non-certified lifesaving classes to Jacksonville residents this fall. Get expert instruction in CPR, basic first aid and blood loss control at no cost, one Saturday each month. September's class is instruction in CPR basics on September 21! 

All classes are from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the training room at the Public Safety Complex (911 Public Safety Dr. SW, behind Walmart). The training room is in the city court lobby in the PSC's main entrance. 

Courses for the fall include: 

• Sept. 21:  Basic CPR
• Oct. 12:  Basic First Aid
• Nov. 2:  Emergency Bleeding Control
• Nov. 23:  Fire and Fall Prevention for the Home

Spaces are limited to ages 12 and up, with a maximum of 12 people per class, so register now!
