It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to Jacksonville, Alabama—our “Gem of the Hills.” Whether you are joining us for a short visit, pursuing your education at Jacksonville State University, or have long called this community home, we are honored to share Jacksonville with you.
Our city is distinguished by its rich history, natural beauty, and strong educational institutions. Visitors are encouraged to explore our historic Public Square, attend an event at JSU, and experience the scenic Chief Ladiga Trail, which connects Calhoun County to Georgia.
To our residents, thank you for investing your time, energy, and pride into Jacksonville. Your support of our schools, businesses, and one another makes this city exceptional.
