Commercial Development Authority

The Jacksonville Commercial Development Authority (CDA) partners with the City of Jacksonville to create economic opportunities that expand the tax base of our community. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Court room at the Public Safety Complex, 911 Public Safety Drive, Jacksonville, Alabama, 36265.

CDA Purpose

  • Promote retention and growth of existing businesses.
  • Seek out commercial development opportunities to further Jacksonville’s economic stability.
  • Be a resource for existing and prospective businesses in the City of Jacksonville.
  • Maintain a business environment which allows growth and success of commercial enterprises.

Membership

The CDA has five members which are appointed by the Jacksonville City Council to staggered four-year terms.
