The Alabama Department of Revenue’s Back to School Sales Tax Weekend is coming up this weekend, July 17-19, and Jacksonville is participating! Purchases for school supplies and related items from 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 17 to midnight Sunday, July 19 will be state and local sales tax-free; eligible items include computers, clothing, art supplies, stationery, software, books and a lot more.
