What You Will Need:
- Photo ID- A photo ID of the person starting service is required. This person must be physically present in the office with the photo ID in order for the service to be in that person's name. Applicant must be 19 years of age or older.
- Deposit- The standard deposit is $75.00 for water and $100.00 for natural gas. If you start your account with bank draft (autopay), the water deposit is $50. Deposits must be paid by cash, check, or money order.
- Bank Draft- If you choose bank draft, we will need a voided check or something preprinted from your bank that shows your account number and routing number. Drafts must be from a checking or savings account.
- Reference- You will need to provide the name, address, and phone number of a relative. This address will be used if mail is returned to us.
- Appointment- An appointment will be scheduled to turn on your service if service is not already on. You are required to be at the service address at the time of the appointment. For water, we turn it on at the meter and we will only come to the door if there is a problem. With gas, you will be responsible for lighting any pilot lights that must be lit. This must be done once the gas is turned on at the meter and you will need to sign stating you are taking responsibility for the gas. We try to provide same day service but this cannot always be guaranteed. Appointments are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.
